We like this 5PM thing! We had a great turnout last week and we’re excited about this 5PM service gathering time.
We also had such a great time hanging and eating afterwards we’re going to do it again. This time we’ll have hotdogs and ice cream. Invite some friends and join us at 324 College Ave.

SENT LIKE LAMBS SERIES: EATING AND DRINKING
This Sunday’s teaching is about eating and drinking in the way of Jesus.
Specifically, we’ll discuss how the simple practice of eating and drinking is a means of participating in God’s good work.
In a time of isolation and loneliness (it’s at epidemic levels) the table can be a place of community, learning, and encounter with God. It certainly was in Jesus’ time and can be in ours.
A friend of mine always says, “the kingdom expands over the dinner table.” I agree!
We’ll ponder how we can enjoy meals together and how this ordinary act of communion can be revolutionary.

SEASON OF PRAYER AT RADIANT
As we prepare the ground for Radiant’s “Grand Opening” on Sunday, September 11th, we are creating several intentional spaces and rhythms of prayer.
For us, it’s clear: we need God’s presence and power more than strategy or method! The way forward begins with prayer.
1) MONDAY MORNING PRAYER MEETINGS – STARTING 8/8 @ 6 AM.
Start your week with morning prayer on Mondays from Aug. 8th through Sep. 5th. Leading up to Radiant’s “Grand Opening” our prayer team will be hosting a zoom prayer meeting. We will be praying that God would empower our witness to Jesus as we follow him on mission. Each meeting will last from 6-6:20AM. Here’s the link: meet.google.com/dvu-mfev-noa
2) NATURALLY SUPERNATURAL WORKSHOP – AUG 27. 1-5 PM.
At Radiant we exist to make disciples of Jesus who are radiant with God’s love and power. But how do we practically operate and walk in the power of God’s Spirit? We are creating some workshop space to learn about living a lifestyle that is both naturally supernatural and not unnecessarily weird.
Pastor Sean Blomquist will be joining us to lead us in a workshop where we learn how to become naturally supernatural through cooperation with the Holy Spirit.

3) 48 HOURS OF PRAYER EVENT
Mark your calendars! We are praying for for 48 hours straight as a church starting Thursday, Sept 8 at 3 PM and ending Sept. 10. at 2:30 PM. Yes, even at 3 AM, we will be praying. We will end our prayer vigil with a communion service from 2:30-3:00 PM. More details to follow in the next few weeks! Sign up for your slot here.
