March 30, 2023

Dear Radiant,

This Sunday is Palm Sunday — the day Jesus made his triumphal entry into Jerusalem greeted by shouts of “Hosanna!” or “O Save!”

For me, Palm Sunday is always a bit of a conflicted celebration — for the same crowds that shouted “Hosanna” waving Palm branches would, in less than a week, be crying “Crucify!”

It’s a reminder to be on guard against for the fickleness of “the crowd.”  Perhaps more so – the fickleness of our own hearts.

THIS SUNDAY
We’re grateful that we’ll be joined by Wade Patton, who will bringing the Word, preaching about Jesus’ triumphal entry and what it means that God’s desire is for his creation to be close to Him.

A bit about Wade:
Wade is a native of Modesto, CA, a product of Modesto City Schools and Biola University. He comes from a family of ministers who’ve devoted there lives to helping people hear the voice of God thru scripture, prayer and worship. He attends The Believer’s Walk Ministries, a home based ministry on the Westside of Modesto. Hobbies include rollerblading, hiking biking and collecting “Aqua man”Comics. He also plays the piano and loves worship music. Wade has been teaching and preaching God’s Word for over twenty years.

I’m pumped to hear and learn from Wade.  Join us at 5pm!
