Hey Radiant!
It’s kind of an exciting weekend for us. We have the Missio Conference (tonight!) Friday and Saturday. And then on Sunday night Grace Shim share at our 5PM service. Grace is the Executive Minister of Serve Globally for the Evangelical Covenant Church.
A reminder about Missio: we are joining forces with Modesto Covenant Church and Covenant Grove to go deeper in Christ and further in mission together. This is all about creating space for the Holy Spirit to encourage, empower, and equip us for participating in God’s mission in Modesto and beyond.
Here’s the schedule:
*We’ll have kids program for each of the session (through 5th grade).
Friday Night Session – 6:30-8:30 PM (Doors open at 6) *at Radiant Covenant – 324 College Avenue (Emmanuel Lutheran Church). Speaker: Jeff Pishney from Love Our Cities.
Saturday Morning Session – 9:30-11:30 AM (Doors open at 9) *Covenant Grove – 4825 Roselle Avenue. Speaker: Benny Amaya planting pastor of City Gateway Covenant Church in Compton, California
Youth Lunch on Saturday afternoon (contact Ulisses Vasquez for details 209.541.8536)
Pre-session dinner – Saturday night at Modesto Covenant. 5:00-6:00pm.
Saturday Evening Session – 6:00-8:00 PM *Modesto Covenant Church – 913 Floyd Avenue. Speaker: Grace Shim
Sunday Worship Service – 5:00 PM We are still on for our normal worship service this Sunday at Radiant — Grace Shim is our guest speaker.

Radiant Home Churches are communities of discipleship in the way of Jesus and are foundational to our life as a church. We are aiming to begin the week of 9/17 — and will share more details in the weeks to come. If you are not currently in a home church, or would like to try a new home church, please fill out this interest form, and we’ll follow up with you as the groups take shape.
BAPTISM SERVICE 9/17
Baptism is a public declaration of your trust in Jesus Christ. If you haven’t been baptized and sense God leading you to this, or are just curious, contact Zach zach@radcov.org. We are planning a service of baptism during our worship service on 9/17.
WOMEN’S CONFERENCE AT MISSION SPRINGS 9/29 – 10/1
Registration for our conference’s Covenant Women’s Conference is now open. This conference will take place at the beautiful Mission Springs Conference in Scotts Valley, CA. This will also be a weekend of encouragement, fellowship, and rich memory-building, all with one goal in mind, that you leave Mission Springs knowing that you are loved by God and your purpose is to love others.
