Hey Radiant,
We are continuing our “Beauty of Jesus” teaching series this Sunday with Bryan Gardner teaching.
Here’s a little preview from Bryan:
“Faith is a strange thing. Much like the beautiful, it cannot be approached formulaically, nor can it be comprehended with technical mathematical precision. It frustratingly refuses to dance to our propositional tune and elegantly eludes our desire for definition. It causes us to doubt. It is rumored that one ancient church father stated, “I believe because it is absurd.” May we not refrain from our doubts, may we respect the mystery. Friends, let us lean into the strength of the absurd. In doing so, we just may find our faith when the abyss opens wide…
Jesus is there.”

CHILI COOK-OFF AND TALENT SHOW
The Chili Cook-off is coming back. But this year, we are spicing it up with a talent show. Join us on Sunday, November 9th from 5-7PM. Sign up to bring Chili, Cornbread, and to share your talents. If you would like your Chili to compete, we will take the first 10 people to sign up for competition. All ages welcomed to perform in a 5min or less act. Bring your friends — all, as always, are welcome. We’ll also be collecting non-perishable food items for the Stanislaus Food Initiative.

Alayna Crew is a recent high school grad who served on our worship team and was a part of Radiant Youth. Alayna recently left for a Discipleship Training School with YWAM and has an ministry update for those interested. Click here to learn more.

One way to connect at Radiant is to join our BAND APP group. Think of this as a sort of Radiant message board — our own little social media space. People can extend invites, share about needs and opportunities.
