Dear Radiant,
From Jim Jacobs:
“Happy Valentine’s Day!
As we reflect on this holiday, and it’s meaning, let’s reflect on the one who loved us first. Let’s really think about and contemplate who he is, and what he has done.
Philippians 4:8 says that we should think about ‘whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy.’ Let’s fix our gaze on Jesus as we come to him in prayer.”
Jim will be teaching on “Y” in the P.R.A.Y. acronym, Yielding to God in prayer. Excited to learn from Jim as we wrap up this prayer series.
See you this Sunday at 10 AM.

CHRISTIAN STATEMENT ON REFUGEES
Friends, these continue to be fraught times for many in our local community and nation, particular for immigrants and refugees. Often it is difficult to know how exactly we are to respond or engage in love in a meaningful way because of the speed of the news cycle and the fraught nature of the political discourse. But this is biblical bedrock for us: we believe that all people are made in God’s image and deserve to be treated justly, humanely, and with dignity.
As a church, we have partnered extensively with World Relief and their work with refugees locally. I deeply value their biblical posture in this current climate and their thoughtful political advocacy. I was drawn to sign this statement of support towards refugees and encourage those interested to read this statement, reflect, respond, and pray as God leads you.

Thank you for your generosity and partnership in Radiant’s ministry!
