Dear Radiant,
What if your abject failures and personal tragedies were destined to be gifts you offer the world?
As far-fetched as this sounds, I am convinced that this can be the case — that is, if we hand those things over to Jesus.
Jesus redeems. He repurposes. He carefully handles shattered things and makes a mosaic.
And the beauty that emerges is sometimes more beautiful than the original.
That is just what he does. And he longs to do this with us.
He did it with Peter: he man who cracked under pressure and denied Jesus under pressure would the be rock upon which Jesus built the church. How wild and beautiful is that!
So that’s what we are after this Sunday.
I am going to boldly ask you to reconsider those failures, those things you’ve stuffed into the dark junk drawer of your soul. Let’s bring those things out upon the table and allows the master craftsman to do his art.
Sure this might feel overly hopeful and a little too easy – but friends, in his resurrection light, failure, tragedy, and brokenness are meant to glow with redemption.

CHILI COOK-OFF AND TALENT SHOW- NOVEMBER 9
The Chili Cook-off is coming back. But this year, we are spicing it up with a talent show. Join us on Sunday, November 9th from 5-7PM. Sign up to bring Chili, Cornbread, and to share your talents. If you would like your Chili to compete, we will take the first 10 people to sign up for competition. All ages welcomed to perform in a 5min or less act. Bring your friends — all, as always, are welcome. We’ll also be collecting non-perishable food items for the Stanislaus Food Initiative.

We are beginning the church membership journey at Radiant. This is an exciting time but sure to generate questions (those are most welcome). We want to create some space to get this conversation started. We are going to meet following service on 11/23 for questions and answers and share a bit more of the vision behind membership at Radiant.

Alayna Crew is a recent high school grad who served on our worship team and was a part of Radiant Youth. Alayna recently left for a Discipleship Training School with YWAM and has an ministry update for those interested. Click here to learn more.
BAND APP
One way to connect at Radiant is to join our BAND APP group. Think of this as a sort of Radiant message board — our own little social media space. People can extend invites, share about needs and opportunities.
