Pardon the blunt question, but:
“What are you hiding?”
Don’t we all have things, areas of our lives, past experiences, that we embarrassed about? Things we’d rather not have others see?
We all have a kitchen junk drawer of the soul.
The problem is our hiding chokes our living. The more we hide, the less we are known. The less we are known, the less we can experience real love.
Maybe a better question is “why are you hiding?”
The good news of Jesus is that we do not have to hide nor do we have to be afraid. He sees us (better than we see ourselves) and yet loves us.
We aren’t dancing around it in this series — let’s get raw, and honest. In the journey towards soul health and renewal, bringing what is in the dark to the light is like spiritual oxygen.
We are diving into what it means to confess and repent of our sins.
God’s grace is more abundant than our sin ever could be, but there is action required on our part.
It is time to start living in the light. It might take awhile for our eyes to adjust — but when they do, this vista will be a sight to behold.
And your soul will breathe deep.

SECOND SUNDAY PANCAKE DINNER — THIS SUNDAY!
We are doing a pancake…dinner on this Sunday after our service. We’ll supply the food! Suggested donation $3 per person or $10 per family.
HOME CHURCHES RESTART THIS WEEK
Radiant Home Churches are communities of discipleship in the way of Jesus and are foundational to our life as a church. If you are not currently in a home church, or would like to try a new Home Church, please fill out this interest form, and we’ll follow up with you! Groups are restarting the week of 1/14, so it’s an optimal time to jump in.

INNER HEALING PRAYER WORKSHOP — SATURDAY, 2/24
Jesus is with us always bringing us into healing and freedom. Inner Healing prayer is a means for inviting Jesus into the pain, trauma, and anxiety that we carry. On Saturday, February 24th from 9-4pm we will host a prayer ministry training workshop for those interested in learning how to invite the healing presence of Jesus into their own lives and the lives of others. Mark your calendar — this will be a transformational time — more information to come.
MEN’S CONFERENCE 4/19-21 at MISSION SPRINGS
Join us for a weekend of impact, challenge, and fun as we spend time in worship, fellowship, and growing in Christ. Our hope is that the men at the conference would feel empowered to rise up and seek out God despite feelings, circumstances, or situations. Register here, starting Jan. 1st. FRONTIER RANCH
The Covenant Church operates a phenomenal summer camp in the Santa Cruz mountains. There are week long options for 4-6th graders and 7-9the graders. Registration opened on 12/1. Spots will fill quickly. Scholarships available from the website. Register here.
