Dear Radiant,
There’s a popular beer commercial with the recurring tagline: “Stay thirsty, my friends.”
I am not sure if people need that encouragement.
I mean, if there is one thing that is certain of human beings, it is that we will stay thirsty.
And I would argue the thirst isn’t just, or even primarily, physical.
Our souls are parched. We are in need of spiritual hydration.
Friends, this isn’t something to be ashamed of. Nor should we ignore it. The sooner we come to grips with the reality of our thirst, the closer we are to finding the real water we were made to drink.
Hear again,this simple invitation from Jesus: “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink” (John 7:37).
There’s water for you. Any of you. You just got to be thirsty.
As we head into 2026, I wonder what your response to this invitation will be?
I am excited to begin a new teaching series on prayer and thirst and the living water available to us in Jesus.
Let’s re-open old wells, tap new reservoirs, and drink deeply from the living water here for us.

We’ve just learned that ELC has a really bad pest problem and has decided to shut down their kitchen until further notice! This means we won’t be able to host our Second Sunday Lunch and membership class this Sunday. We will make up for this and are brainstorming other options. More info TBD. One way to connect at Radiant is to join our BAND APP group. Think of this as a sort of Radiant message board — our own little social media space. People can extend invites, share about needs and opportunities.
