November 15, 2024
Hey Radiant,
It has become abundantly clear to me that God isn’t beholden to my calendar, my pace or my desires.
This is actually really good news. If it was left up to me and my demanding agenda, I’d likely make a pretty good mess of things.
The “slow work of God” (as Pierre Teilhard de Chardin calls it) is steadier, more enduring, deeper than my quick, hurried, frantic pace.
Like glaciers cutting through granite, God is on a mission to radically transform our lives and the world — but this takes time (at least from our time perspective, not God’s).
So what does it look like to embrace this slow process? You know, we get antsy and impatient! I am tapping my foot on the ground, praying: “God, please, hurry up.”
Jesus tells us that that kingdom of God is growing like seed sowed in a farmer’s field. It grows day and night — slowly and surely until it is ready and harvest day arrives.
This Sunday, we’ll consider reorienting ourselves to this kingdom reality, embracing the work of God that is thoroughly good but not always on our schedule.
See you at 10AM or 5PM!

RADIANT THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY 12/8.
Can you believe it’s been three years! It seems like longer and shorter to me. We are going to give God thanks for his three years of work in this church plant and ask for him to do even greater things than these. We want to spread the invites wide and involved everyone who has been involved in any way in our story. More details to follow, but mark your calendar for 12/8/2024!
NEW RIPON HOME CHURCH – THURSDAY 6PM
*Phil and Elisa Krueger are hosting a Ripon Home Church at their home on Thursdays from 6-8PM! They can be contacted at 209.681.3045
Home churches are just beginning this fall. Radiant Home Churches are communities of discipleship in the way of Jesus and are foundational to our life as a church. Here’s a list of home churches. Each leader would be glad to connect with you.
BAND APP
One way to connect at Radiant is to join our BAND APP group. Think of this as a sort of Radiant message board — our own little social media space. People can extend invites, share about needs and opportunities.
GIVING
Thank you for your generosity and partnership in Radiant’s ministry! Here’s the link to online giving.
Grace and Peace!
