Hey Radiant, Last Sunday was a sweet time together at both 10AM at MJC and 5PM at ELC. It was great to see some new faces at both services.
Both preview services (8/18 and 9/8) had strong attendance and while smaller than normal, the 5PM services seemed to have the critical mass necessary to continue.
But we are still praying, pondering, considering…
WHAT’S NEXT?
As we continue to plan and reflect upon the plan forward, we are grateful for any feedback you might have. Here’s the form. We are seeking God’s wisdom as we cultivate disciple-making communities and networks at Radiant, including how we gather on Sundays.
We long for God to do what only God can do and trust Him to show us the way.
THIS SUNDAY BACK AT 5PM – ALPHA
This Sunday at 5PM is going to be fun. We are gathering to worship and experience a little bit of the Alpha Course. The hope is that we all will get a taste of what Alpha is about so that we know what we are inviting people to on 9/26.
Alpha is a place questions are always welcomed — so bring your questions here!
FOLLOWED BY A POTLUCK
You are welcome to stay and hang together. We will be sharing a meal together after the service. It is our second Sunday supper; this time it is a potluck, so bring something to share!

RAD YTH ALL-NIGHTER – 9/13 
HOME CHURCH STARTS MID-SEPTEMBER
Home churches are getting back starting in mid-September. Radiant Home Churches are communities of discipleship in the way of Jesus and are foundational to our life as a church. If you are not currently in a home church, or would like to try a new home church, please fill out this interest form, and we’ll follow up with you! There are groups forming currently — about 6 or 7 taking shape. Leaders will be hanging out on Sunday to introduce themselves this will be a good chance to explore a group to join.
TRIVIA NIGHT – SEPTEMBER 20 – 6:45PM

THE ALPHA COURSE – BEGINS SEPTEMBER 26
The Alpha Course is returning!
What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of conversations about things we all question in life: Why do bad things happen to good people? What’s the purpose of life? What’s next? It’s for those exploring Jesus, for those who are skeptical, for those who want to be refreshed. It is an 8 week course, but you are welcome to come to the first gathering to check it out, no commitment required. This is a great community to invite friends who are exploring faith — all questions welcomed If you’re looking for a judgment-free space to ask hard questions, share your own opinion, or even just observe, there’s a place for you. And more than that — dinner is included! Sign up here.
SAMANTHA AND SERGIO WEDDING SHOWER SEPTEMBER 22 2PM
We are so excited for Sergio and Samantha! They are getting married in November and the church is hosting a co-ed wedding shower for them on 9/22 at 2PM. All welcome! They are registered at the knot.

One way to connect at Radiant is to join our BAND APP group. Think of this as a sort of Radiant message board — our own little social media space. People can extend invites, share about needs and opportunities.
