As my kids say: Merry Christmas Eve Eve to you!
Go tell it on the mountain and in the Central Valley — Jesus Christ is born!
We’re excited for our Christmas Eve service at 4PM tomorrow. Bring some family and friends — and join us for this candlelight service as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ — the one who brings joy, peace, hope, and love to our lives.
*A note on the service — children will join parents for worship in the sanctuary. The nursery space will be open for parents who need it (but not staffed).
ADVENT GENEROSITY UPDATE:
I am so pumped about the generosity of Radiant — this new Jesus-shaped community is making a difference. We had a goal of raising $2,000 to bless a local ministry (Youth for Christ ministry with incarcerated youth) and for the Mozambique Covenant Church — particularly a church in Nhangulo, Mozambique that needed to rebuild their building. We will be able to give above and beyond to these ministries — giving totaled $3,682!!!
I also wanted to share that Sergio Lara, Ulisses Vasquez and I got a chance to visit Juvenile Hall this week for the Christmas party we sponsored there. The youth (about 50 total) were incredibly grateful for the party and the pizza. They wanted me to pass along their sincere thanks. Several of them mentioned — “we never get food like this.”
The three of us were blessed to be able to pray over them and share in some conversation. Sergio even dressed up as Santa. I got to say, Sergio was the best Santa I’ve ever seen. We also were able to deliver the kind encouragement notes that you wrote at Winterfest. Btw – how fun was Winterfest!

We’ll kick off 2023 back at our normal Sunday Worship time of 5PM. What adventures await!
HOME CHURCHES WILL BE STARTING WEEK OF JANUARY 15th
Our Home Church groups are smaller communities that meet during the week where we learn to practice the simple way of Jesus. No experience required, all are welcome. We usually share a meal, read scripture, and consider what God is up to in and through our lives.
This is a great time to consider plugging into a home as we will restart groups in mid-January. If you are interested in learning about available groups and what group might be a good fit for you contact Zach at zach@radcov.org
